Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Gifts Rwanda is an online marketplace that connects customers with local vendors in Rwanda for shopping and gift delivery. By creating an account or placing an order on giftsrwanda.com, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You can sign in with your Google account or, for vendors, with a phone number. You are responsible for keeping your account access secure and for everything done through your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

3. Orders, payment, and delivery

• Products are prepared and sold by independent local vendors. Prices are shown in Rwandan Francs (RWF).
• Payment is made by mobile money directly to the vendor. An order is confirmed once the vendor verifies your payment.
• Delivery times are estimates. We and our vendors do our best to deliver on time, and we will keep you informed — including by phone or WhatsApp — if anything changes.
• If an item is unavailable after you order, we will contact you to arrange a replacement or a refund of what you paid.

4. Vendors

Vendors must provide accurate business information, list only products they can genuinely supply, honor confirmed orders, and comply with Rwandan law. We may suspend or remove vendor accounts that receive repeated complaints or breach these terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to access other users' accounts or data, disrupting the platform, uploading unlawful content, or using the Service for fraud.

6. Content you upload

You keep ownership of content you upload (such as product photos or gift messages) and grant us permission to use it to operate and promote the Service. Do not upload content you have no right to share.

7. Liability

We provide the platform that connects customers and vendors. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms or change the Service. If we make significant changes we will post the updated terms here. You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time.
